Frequently asked questions

What does WPLogin protect?

WPLogin combines login limits, visual customisation and role-based content access. It complements server security and regular updates; it does not replace them.

Does the demo affect real accounts?

Explore login limits safely: this browser-based simulator never signs users in or changes real accounts. The sign-in link opens the native WordPress login.

How do I install WPLogin?

Download WPLogin 1.4.4, then open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in WordPress. Install and activate the ZIP and PluginFiles Updater 0.9.0+, open WPLogin → Settings and test access recovery before enabling protections.

What do email login links require?

Email login requires HTTPS, working mail delivery and an adapter that checks account approval, suspension and MFA policies. Without the adapter it is rejected; privileged accounts are excluded by default. Keep using the native login when needed.

Does the download goal trigger payments?

Downloading the software does not purchase a paid service. The 100,000 initiated-download target is a planning milestone, not a billing trigger or a retroactive licence change. Counts can include repeats and do not prove installations or completed transfers; direct ZIP links are not recorded by the distribution endpoint. Any paid offer must state scope, prices, taxes, renewal, cancellation and applicable withdrawal rights before explicit acceptance. Mandatory consumer rights remain protected.

How do remote updates work?

WPLogin 1.4.4 includes JSON settings transfer, 14 interface languages, mobile login footer improvements and coordination with PluginFiles Updater. Remote updates require a connected service and an authorised release.
